NCLBPH Event – Spirit in Motion

Join the North Carolina Library for the Blind and Physically Handicapped in the Governor Morehead School auditorium on Wednesday August 30, from 1:30 – 3:00 PM for Stories of the Olympics and Paralympics. Paralympian Lex Gillette, and WRAL-TV News Anchor Renee Chou will be the guests of honor at this event.

Lex Gillette, who grew up in Raleigh, N.C., will talk about his life as an accomplished athlete with a visual impairment competing on a global level. Renee Chou will discuss her experience providing news coverage at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio, Brazil for WRAL-TV.

The library is located in Raleigh, but mails materials throughout the state.
