New on NOBLE – another Locally Produced Book for BARD

When the Parkway Came – DBC06103 is the library’s latest locally produced book for BARD.

The book tells the story told by a grandfather to his granddaughter about the building of the Blue Ridge Parkway, which he experienced firsthand as a boy growing up on a farm in western North Carolina during the Depression.
