Come out for Pumpkins and Prizes on Saturday, Oct 4

Looking for something fun to do with your family? Come on out to the Governor Morehead School in Raleigh for NC-APVI’s 7th Annual Pumpkins and Prizes Party on Saturday, October 4, 2014 from 11 am to 1 pm. The library will be out and about at this fun event. Activities, sponsored by local community groups, available for children of all ages & abilities! Come learn more about the community groups that provide services and resources for children with visual impairments while decorating pumpkins and socializing! Thanks to all the community groups participating! This is a chance to meet other families of children with visual impairment/blindness and professionals serving them. Collaborate, share ideas and support one another.
Come out also for a GOAL BALL DEMONSTRATION presented by Bridge II Sports. Come learn about the sport of goal ball and experience a goal ball demonstration. Goal ball is an exciting sport and so much fun to play!
